Volunteer Work

Dr. Cooney's passion for veterinary medicine has led her to devote time and resources to organizations providing veterinary services for communities with limited access to veterinary care. She volunteered supplies and expertise to Worldwide Veterinary Services (http://www.wvs.org.uk) in Mexico and the Dominican Republic, conducting spay / neuter clinics for both locally owned and stray animals in the regions. She has also volunteered her time with the Alberta Spay Neuter Task Force (http://www.abtaskforce.org) providing services to more remote communities in Alberta.
